Citizenship Classes

The Burlington County Library system offers a 4-week Citizenship preparation class at various branches. These classes are primarily aimed at individuals preparing to take the oral exam, but are useful for anyone interested in American History, Government, and Geography. During the final class of the series students will have a chance to practice the oral interview and review the application procedure.

    Upcoming citizenship classes at BCLS

    The next series of Citizenship Classes at the Burlington County Library System will be offered in June 2012. 

    Classes are held at two locations:

    Evesham Branch  - Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 - June 4, 11, 18, 25

    Headquarters Branch (Westampton) - Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 - June 5, 12, 19, 26

    Please call or visit the Library Branch nearest you to register for classes.

    For books in the library's collection, check in the Catalog under the subject Citizenship. Materials are located in both the regular collection and the ESL Collection.

    • The Testing and Education Reference Center on the libraries website provides free online tests and testing ebooks. After accessing the BCLS site with your library card number, click on Research Your Topic, then Databases A to Z, go to the Test Preparation link at the bottom of the list. Look for the U.S. Citizenship test.
