ESL and Adult Literacy  

In the Burlington County Library System there are both printed and audio materials for learning English. In the card catalogue under Subject Heading, search using the terms:

         English Language - study and teaching - Foreign Speakers

         Adult Literacy

The audio materials include books with CD's, pronunciation practice, and language learning cassettes and CDs for speakers of specific languages.

At Headquarters Branch in Westampton, the ESL materials are located in the aisle with the Adult Literacy Materials and Books in Foreign Languages near the adult reference desk.

Many of the other branch libraries have a selection of ESL and Citizenship materials. The Branch Reference librarians will be glad to show you what is available at their library, or help you request materials from another location.
